These are some of my class projects throughout my time at Mary Washington:
HIST 329 – US History in Film
During this class, we developed our own website and online projects, all of which are linked below. The class was centered around the way US History has been interpreted through films over time.
HISP 463 – Lab Museum Design and Interpretation
This class involved the development of an exhibit for a community client, the Dahlgren Heritage Museum. My class was divided into two groups, Design and Label-Making, and I was a part of the Design team. My group made the majority of the creative decisions regarding the exhibit, including font choice, color palette, and overall layout. Linked below is the Special Exhibit page of the museum’s website, and though our project is not listed, there are two posts that look very similar. The Dahlgren history timelines are the first two editions of what our project sought to continue. We are the third installment, and cover the years 1975-2001.

HIST 428 – Digital History
This class is dedicated to the learning and practice of digital history and digital humanities as a broader discipline. These two projects below are representative examples of two of the skills learned in this class, timeline software. On the left is a Story Map, and on the right is a Timeline. Other projects relating to this class can be found on its website linked below.
HIST 491 – Individual Study
This undergraduate study I completed was a one-credit, one semester committment that involved the conduction of oral histories for a community partner, the American Historical Print Collectors Society. The project these oral histories are for is still under development, and due to privacy, will not be shared publicly. The document linked below is the consent form given to narrators before the interview in order to give them full transparency throughout the process.
URES 197 – Undergraduate Research in Art History
This class is still in progress, and representative examples will be posted at the conclusion of the semester.
